Did you try Preview? ImageCapture? Printers & Scanners prefs?

In my preview I see the normal scan like the original. When I wil save it to My Documents of I wil Print than I get the grey with blacklines. Nothing like the preview or original document. Printers & scanners prefer is selcted in HP L7590.

I see in some reviews that there are more people with this problem and several answers are: there is a missing driver since the Mavericks upload.

You're describing what HP says here:

What I meant was to try to use the Preview application, Image Capture, or the scanning interface in the printers & scanners prefs.
