Q: Loose home button

went into Apple store and the guy managed to completely break it and wants to charge me £119 to fix, what do I do?

    Talk to the store manager as most people would do in a similar situation.  Did you really need to come to a public forum to find out how to handle the situation?

    Thank you for your informative and most helpful response.  What I was hoping for was someone in a similar situation who had an alternative option rather than state the obvious.  Its not a 'situation' more an inconvenience, however, you clearly have a rather high opinion of your 'witty' response.  The store manager was most unhelpful, very much like you.
