Charging iPad inside smart Case

I read that charging an iPad inside a case might cause problems in the battery because the temperature of battery increases a lot.

I have an iPad mini Retina and I bought an official Apple smart case to put it inside. Is it fine if I charge it inside the smart case ? Because the case is too tight around the ipad and I am afraid that taking it in and out of the case regularly with damage the case.

What do you think ? Is the heat generated diffused properly from the case ?
