How to open a second window (two sided) on my iPad in order to work with them at once or to minimize the windows and put and work with them next to each other?

I would like to be able to view the content of two window (and work with them) at the same time by making the screen two sided or minimize the wndows and put them next to each other? How can I do that?

iOS devices work on one app at a time and it is not possible to view screens from different app side by side.

To switch quickly between two apps double click the home button while in one app. This will display the multi tasking bar at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the icon for the second running app to switch to that app.
