This DV small-tape-cam is probably not supported (not in list imo) but in the sony handout is written: above iOs 9.X there is no driver be needed; the cam will automaticly be regognized. I use an usb connection but here is no file to be seen in the importwindow... On deskop no new drive to be seen too.
What to do to import?

USB doesn't carry DV media. You need a FireWire connection.
Thanks! But that 's a problem since apple does not support that on the iMac and macair. Back to windows? (Even the CD player has gone with plenty room for it. sometime i hate those idiots.)
So, any idea what can I do with no firewire connection to import DV?

You can get some FireWire to Thunderbolt cables or adaptors that work. Avoid Rocket Fish.
Tom is correct.. I used to have a Sony HDR-HC7 also with miniDV and I bought a Thunderbolt adapter from the Apple store for the firewire. You need to follow the download instructions from the camera and follow the right sequence for hook up.. It worked very well..
