Storage almost full: Others=160Gb - How do I free this ?

Hi people,

I hope that someone can help me here.

I have this new MacBook Pro Retina Display with 250 Gb Flashstorage. I am using it since 3 months and buyed it while I was on a travel to Chile but I actually live in Argentina far of Buenos Aires..

The storage seem to be full with unknown files classified as "Others". 160 Gb of unknown.

I have used "Disk Inventory X" to check where is the space taken, but the SUM of everything is roughly 90 Gb.

Do anyone know how can I free this space ?

I am 3 months old with apple MacBook so I am quite newbie.

Thanks in advance!

See Kappys excellent note on the rest of “other” files taking up your space:
