Will FCP 7.0.3 work with these graphics cards?

I want to upgrade my early 2009 Mac Pro from:

2 x 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon

16GB 1066 MHz DDR3

ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB

OS X 10.8.5

to (upgraded component

2 x 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon

32 GB 1066 MHz DDR3

EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Mac Edition Graphics Card for Apple Mac Pro or

Sapphire HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 Mac Edition Graphics Card or

NVIDIA Quadro 4000 Professional Graphics PCI-Express Video Card for the Apple Mac Pro

OSX 10.9

But I've heard FCP7 won't work with the 680. I'll need this machine to run the newest AVID MC and Adobe Premiere and AE, which this should be able to do. But I also need FCP7 to continue to work.

Any word on this?

I'm also considering upgrading the CPU to 12 cores. Anyone had experience with this?

Thank you for your time!

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), 2 x 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
