how do i set up a mac.com email address?

I don't believe mac.com is available for new subscribers. Apple changed the domain to me.com. The folk who still still retain a mac.com address started theirs years ago.

Currently Apple use iCloud so you can only create a new @icloud.com email account; not a @mac.com.
