Using old Airport Express with new Airport Extreme to stream music

I recently purchased the newest Airport Extreme to replace my older Airport Express. I'm running OS 10.8.5. I like the speed of the new WIFI signal for streaming to Apple TV. No long waits or buffering interruptions while watching movies. I still want to use the old Airport Express to stream music from my iPhone to a stereo in another part of the house. I plugged in the Express module and it just flashes amber. Doesn't show up in Airport Utility either.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2), 27"

I suggest that you first perform a "factory default" reset on your old AirPort Express, and then, check out the following Apple Support article for configuring it for streaming.

I didn't realize ther was a little button on the bottom of the unit that is used to reset to factory defaults. Used Airport utility and it was hooked up in seconds.
