Running this hated Windows 8 and received the following error: Error 7 (Windows Error 32) when trying to re-install itunes. Any ideas or fixes? Thanks!

Recently purchased a new desktop with windows 8 OS. Had no trouble downloading itunes intially and importing library from external hard drive. Old computer tha the external hard drive backed up was windows XP operating system. Then itunes was not working correctly and within a couple uses it would no longer open. Tried reinstalling/repairing and received this message when trying to re-open the program:

Error7 (Windows Error 32)

Very frustrating!! I am really not liking the windows 8 OS. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about computers and just want to be able to access my music.
