Hi! I have a macbook pro Osx 10.5.8. I thinking about upgrading it to snow leopard (I've been reading about it) so I would have airplay and be able to stream on my apple tv. I would just like to be sure it is gonna work before paying for the update. Thanks for your help!!

You're right... Is there anyway I can stream tv with the equipment I have? I've been researching the net for hours without finding anything 😟

Try using AirParrot !?
Those are the requirments for AirPlay "Mirroring".
Not the same as AirPlay from iOS or computer to an Apple TV. Snow Leopard allows AirPlay via iTunes.
