Sometimes simply closing and restarting the applications and power cycling the Mac can resolve the issue. However, ere are a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through when experiencing this issue. Also, if you have any privacy or security software installed, make sure to disable them and attempt accessing the Mac App Store again.
