How do I deauthorize two dead computers from my 5 allowed iTunes account?

How do I deauthorize two computers, from the five we are allowed, if those computers are dead? Would I lose data if I deauthorized all, then logged back in and authorized our three working computers? We have our music backed up in to the Cloud, so it is on the iPad and our iPhones, but I do not want to lose it on the three computers that work fine.

Any detailed instructions would be helpful - new to this.

If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,

Log in to iTunes, go to "view your account info" on the itunes store,

Deauthorise all five,

(Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months)

Then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time..
