Is there any difference between iPod Touch 5th Gen models?

I want to buy an iPod Touch 5th Gen, and i looked for it on the internet, and i noticed that every site has a specific model (eg. APTO5G32BL or MD717ZP/A), (some sites have the same model). And i want to know if there is a difference between iPod models so that i buy the better one.

Thanks 😉

Well if you want ios7 you will need iPod 5g ,5g is also the newer model its taller too if you have an Apple TV you can only mirror with 5g ..and 4g is cheaper but smaller and surprisingly quicker 3g dosent have app store or iTunes but I have 4g and I find it works well and I would advise you to get 16 MB of memory

Those two should be identical. Both are 5G iPod since they show 5 rows of apps plus the dock row.

What kind of site is that? Maybe one is used (previously owned).

Also,iPod (and iPhones and iPads) officially sold in one of the Middle Easter countries that prohibit FaceTime will not have FaceTime and you can't make it appear on the iPod.

The model number listed for on on the right seems to be assigned by the selling company since it is not a valid Apple model number.

The model number for the one on the left seems to be a valid Apple number but I can't tell since I can't make out all the characters. If you can read the characters, enter the characters in Google and see what is returned.

first of all, i don't live in the middle east, i live in Australia.

after googling, you seem to be right, that the photo on the right is not a valid Apple model number.

but is it bad thing to not be a valid Apple model number, since it's cheapest i've ever seen.

and btw, if you can't read the model numbers:

the left: MD717ZP/A

the right:APTO5G32BL

'

THANK YOUUUU 😉
