In iPhoto I hid some of the photos I didn't need to see often. Since then I have transferred all the photos to Aperture, however, I forgot to unhide the hidden pics. Is there a way to unhide them in Aperture?

Aperture caannot unhide photos that have been hidden in iPhoto. Open the Aperture library in iPhoto and unhide them there. Then they will show also in Aperture.

You will need to have a version of iPhoto that is compatible with Aperture. What are your current Aperture and iPhoto versions?

See:  Aperture 3.3: Using a unified photo library with iPhoto and Aperture

    • Photos hidden using iPhoto's Hide command cannot be accessed in Aperture. If you open the library in iPhoto, unhide the photos and then open the library in Aperture, the previously hidden photos are accessible.
    • Photos rated as rejected in Aperture are not accessible in iPhoto. If the photo's rating is subsequently raised in Aperture, it will then be accessible in iPhoto.
