How do I schedule an event every third day?

I cannot seem to be able to schedule an event to reoccur every third day in calendar. How can I do this?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Create the event. Click Add Alert, Repeat or Travel Time. In the Repeat area select "Custom". There you can select to repeat the event every three days.

Hi,

Create an event in Calendar and from the edit window of the event select Repeat > Custom > Daily > Every 3 days.

You should be able to click on the event to edit it,

click on the date and time of the event to expand that,

click on the repeat and drop down the pop-up menu to Custom...,

and then select the Frequency to be Daily and set the Every [x] day(s) to 3.
