What happens if my carrier does not offer unlocking? Will I be forever tied to that particular company?
My contract with the carrier (Telcel Mexico) is about to end and they don't offer unlocking. What can I do?

If your carrier refuses to unlock the phone, then it can not be used on any other carrier.
