It seems we are no longer receiving the warning message that our AD (Active Directory) password is due to expire in x number of days when logging in. This always worked in Lion and Mountain Lion. Anyone else experiencing this with Mavericks?

Bug was logged 29/10/13 with no resolution.
Any news on this? We are experiencing the same issue.
Also, when an AD passwd is expired and OS X is locked, the users are unable to logon as they get no prompt to enter a new password.
Only options then isto hard reset the MAC, at the logon screen, they do get a prompt to enter a new password.
Nothing. Even dev builds. Still nothing from Apple.

The solution we found, is to manually change the user password from the Active Directory.
