FaceTime on iPhone 4 disappeared after activating me 5s

Old phone: iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3

New phone: iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

Today I activated my new iPhone 5s. I did a restore from the iTunes backup I had of my iPhone 4. The upgrade process went fine with no issues.

But I just noticed that the FaceTime icon on the iphone 4 Home screen is gone. Also, in Contacts, there is no FaceTime button in any contacts. I have no Restrictions enabled. So basically the FaceTime function on the phone has been disabled.

I've used the Spotlight Search for FaceTime application. On the iPhone 4, Spotlight doesn't find it. On the iPhone 5s it does find it.

On the new iPhone 5s, the FaceTime icon is on my Home screen, and the FaceTime buttons show in Contacts. And FaceTime functions fine.

Is this NORMAL? I don't understand why both phones can't be used as FaceTime devices over Wifi.

You are probably right about the icon, it's on the iPad, and I thought it was on the iPhone 4 too; I guess it wasn't.

On the iPhone 4, in Settings>FaceTime, it's was still set to ON, and the status was hung at waiting for activation. For some reason, the new phone activation process interrupted the old phone's FaceTime settings. I turned FaceTime OFF then back ON, and it activated. Now the iPhone 4 has FaceTime and the Contacts show the FaceTime button. It's active on all 3 devices now.

Thanks to all of you for the help.

Thanks for the help. I apologize for disagreeing.

I hadn't used FaceTime in a while on the phone (i normally use the iPad) and was incorrectly remembering that it was the same as the iPad. It's not. You guys were right. After re-activating it on the iPhone 4, I searched using Spotlight and on the iPad and the 5s it finds the app icon. On the iPhone 4 it doesn't.

Also, it's still a little clunky on the iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.3. I just went into the FaceTime Settings again on the old phone, and it wasn't actives any more (like it turned itself off). I turned it OFF then back ON and it re-activated. And now even though it's active, and the apple ID and numbers I can be reached were showing, it still gives a status of Awaiting Activation. But it's fully functional and the Contacts show the FaceTime button. So it's OK, I'll know what to do if I ever need it on the old phone.
