Music problems

I was sync/charging my iphone 4s with my itunes on my computer all of the songs were on there then I tried playing them and they no longer worked and beside some songs it had the icon for a song downloading but it wasn't moving so I deleted by the way I purchased these songs from amazon which I have automatically sync with my itunes
