i j ust recently dropped my Iohone 4 and it cracked and i looked and all i saw was colored lines and nothing else. so i looked online how to try to fix it and it said to hold all the buttons down ( home , sleep and the volume buttons ) and it shut off . and now it wont turn back on . how do i fix it and would i hav to get it fixed ?

i dont think you can fix this. your phone may be covered under warrenty still. is it an AT&T iphone?
Oh then happened to my 4S and there is no luck on fixing this unfortunately. All you can hope is that it is covered under warenty still
is there any way for me to take it to a repair place and see what they can do ? or is it just done for ?
ummm i dont think the actual screen is the cause, its the graphics im guessing. ive done everything suggested by other to try to fix mine with no luck. i just got fed up and got another for free from warrenty. so to answer your question, i dont think its possible to fix this. Its done for when you turned it off and it wont turn back on, that means its fried.
