Anyone have a solution for apple books bronzing in pdf?

I'm making books in Aperture 3.4.5 I've generally had good results but this recent book is a problem.

The photos look great in Aperture. When I export to the pdf before buying the books I've seen some of the darkest areas in the photos show bronzing, a sort of black/green black/magenta breakdown in what should be solid black, kind of a "northern lights" effect though very dark.

I have not manipulated the photographs heavily, the originals are large tiffs embedded w/ Adobe RGB. Anyone have this problem? Anyone know if the weird effect in the pdf will show up in the printed book? Suggestions or solutions would be sincerely appreciated.
