blocked people on iPhone but receiving messages on iPad

I have blocked some people on my my iphone 5 but I will still receive imessages from the blocked people on my ipad mini retina display. I was wondering if there is a blocked setting on the ipad because the blocked setting on my iphone is under the phone option, and obviously there is no "phone" setting on the ipad.
