Graphics not working correctly after install Win7 via BootCamp?

I recently purchased a mid-2010 (MC516ll/a, or Macbook 7,1) White macbook. I installed Windows 7 Pro (x64) using boot camp mainly for the purpose of gaming, but as I start to install things I'm noticing some strange happenings. Mostly, it seems to not know about the graphics card, or something along those lines - for instance, on my old 2006 macbook with a 128MB GMA intel integrated chip, I had a game (Lugaru) that ran with only a little bit of lag on highest graphics settings, but on this device (with an 256MB 320M (?) GeForce chip), the menu screen alone runs at ~2FPS, and it can't even load a level. As another example, a game with ridiculously low graphics requirements (Battleships Forever), say my computer doesn't meet the required graphics requirements.

I restarted to make sure it wasn't a rebooting issue, and found, strangely, that Windows had to reinstall the drivers for the mouse I have (after it already installed them once before reboot). Not sure if that's related. Also not sure if it's related, but Game Maker: Studio 1.2 won't open. On the mac partition I am running OSX Mavericks. I ran into a couple bumps while installing Win7, more specifically: (1) The computer came pre-partitioned into the boot drive and a system restore drive. I had to remove the latter (after making a dmg) in order to partition for Win7. (2) When I tried to install the boot camp drivers using setup.exe, it (wrongly) said that the computer doesn't support x64 Windows. I had to use a workaround where I used cmd.exe in administrator mode to open BootCamp.msi in the drivers folder (a solution I found on the internet).

Has anyone else experienced this and/or have a solution?

Hi - I have the exact same model as your MacBook and had a few questions as mine is acting up. I upgraded the ram to 8gb (2x 4GB ram) and ever since then my computer has not been running as smoothly and the start up time is horrendous. Have you encountered this problem? And if so how did you fix? What would you advise me do?

I was thinking of reverting back to the original factory 4GB then rebooting the entire computer. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Allen
