very buggy macbook pro -have tried a lot - any suggestions please?

Hello All, Thanks for your help and suggestions with this in advance.  I have some inexplicable issues with my macbook pro (8,2)  which i need to resolve. Last week my macbookpro&#x27;s screen started to freeze, or &#x27;split down the middle&#x27; so the apple logo that is normally on the left was in the middle and the area of the screen that was on the right was displaying on the left. Audio also skipped during this (like a cd skipping) The laptop subsequently  grey screened in the middle of use a number of times, froze, or turned itself, or was grey or blue on startup.I tried applejack, a different user, permission repair, verify disk, SMC reset, PRAM reset and reinstall the Os via the reinstall (apple R on startup)  feature. My attempt to download the OS failed twice as macbookpro turned itself off during download (which suggested to me the issue was a deep one) before an (apparently) successful reinstall.There was nothing in the panic log to indicate  kernal panics at this stage. I subsequently took it to a genius appointment and they replaced the logic board.All was fine for a few days then the audio icon in the menubar greyed out and the speaker didn&#x27;t work (which had happened with the previous logic board a couple of times) . I also noticed my power brick making some weird noises (like a fax machine) which it  although this has not reoccurred. 48 hours after this and the same initial issues with have reoccurred - my screen freezing / audio skipping and grey screen on attempted startup. I also had a report of a kernal panic  panic this time. It&#x27;s probably going to take that 2nd trip to the Genius Bar. There&#x27;s another tiny board, called the Magsafe DC In board, that may be the cause of your problem.Considering that you just had this fixed, if I were you I&#x27;d call the store and complain a little. They&#x27;ll probably get you in earlier.

I went to see them today - they were very accomodating and ran diagonostics - whether this was the same ones as last time i&#x27;m not sure. The SMART status of the disk came back as unverified (not picked up before i assume)  on their test even though it had been showing otherwise in disk utility so as the disk was a third party it made sense for me to take up the issue with the third party. I went home and put in my previous smaller SSD boot volume which i replaced 4 months ago and have stored. I booted from this volume  which was fine for about an hour and then kernal panic - I have had two in two days and have never had one on this machine.
