When I try to tweet a story link in Safari, it no longer shows up on Twitter. Why is this function no longer working for me?

I have frequently posted to Twitter from Safari, to link the story I'm reading. Now, whenever I do this, the tweet no longer shows up on Twitter. Any thoughts on why this is suddenly happening?
