Q: am i able to download microsoft windows 8.1 onto my iMac OS X 10.7.5 Lion?

Will there be any problems when downloading right off onthehub? some cites say only windows 7 is compatable with this imac, please help!

    Which versions of Windows work with Boot Camp 5?
    You can use:

    • Microsoft Windows 8.0 (64-bit)
    • Microsoft Windows 8.0 Pro (64-bit)
    • Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
    • Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)
    • Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)

    Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Enterprise versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8 are not supported.

    Windows 8.1 is not supported with Boot Camp 5.
