How do I delete an exchange e-mail account? The delet button that is in the on line manual is nowhere in sight. Help. Thank you

Using the 2nd method for me worked as it was installed with a profile and not manually created.
If your exchange email was set up by a third party (like your workplace) you probably need to contact them so they can remove the account for you. As a work around, however, you can just unsync the exchange account's mail/calendar/contacts/etc.

It's a personal iphone, I set up my account manually. It did not connect, so we want to delete and re enter. My IT person could not find the delete button either. On another note, I can not finid that delete button on my g-mail account either. I just switched from Android hoping the iphone would be more fun.
Close out of the mail app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check and see if you find the delete button.
Is that a factory reset? Will I lose all my apps, settings?
No not factory reset, it's a normal reset and no you don't lose any data. Think of it as restarting your PC>
no, no delte button on my employer exchange nor my gmail acccounts. Even my IT person could not find it or delete this account. hhmmm
settings - mail - exchange - you still don't see delete account?
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts > (Select the account) scroll to the bottom to the red Delete Account.

Hi, no delete available. Where this link states delete, my only other thing on the bottom is "Mail days to Sync"
Can you make any changes to account settings?
Do you have Restrictions enabled on the iPhone?
