Emoji not working

Emoji not working

When I try to use an emoji it closes my text app and brings me back to home screen. Why?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

Hi Deveau,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If your Messages app is unexpectedly quitting when trying to use emoji, I would suggest closing all apps and restarting your iPhone to see if that helps:

I tried that a few times but still exiting me out.

It's with every emoji

Go to settings > General > reset > CLICK "Reset Keyboard Dictionary"
