Q: My new 3TB Time Capsule gives an error message — Help please.

My new 3TB Time Capsule gives an error message and the light stays amber. I can't access it at all - though it seems to be seen. I already swapped out one. My old 1TB time capsule is working fine but is full. Help please.

• 27" iMac

• 24" iMac (hitting the Genius Bar today)

• White MacBook

• Apple TV

• iPads (2)

• iPhones (2)

• iPod Touches (2)

If it is solid amber it is serious.

If it is flashing amber it is part and parcel of life.. things happen.

We need to know what the issue is..

Simply reboot it to start with.. that often fixes things.

Otherwise,

Reset it to Factory and start over..
