My friend tried telling me If she doesn't pay her phone bill the phone will still send my texts to her as a iMessage? She can only use wifi to text so I just assumed it would send to her as a text instead of an iMessage when she's not on wifi.

So if she's not on wifi and has no cellular data would my phone send texts to her as green or blue?
iMessage uses wi-fi for sending/receiving texts if wi-fi is available. If there is no wi-fi it will then use cellular data if that is available. She needs an active cellular phone plan to send/receive texts via regular SMS/MMS texts or via iMessage on cellular data.
