How to switch everything on two computers?

I have a macbook air that i've had for about two years, and my mom just got another macbook air the other day. Lately, my computer has been reallt low on storage. I only have 60.7GB of storage on my computer, but the new one has 250GB. Because i use my computer all the time and use a ton of storage, and my mom wouldn't use hers too much, i wanted to know if we ould spaw everything on out computers.

MacBook Air, My operating system is OS X 10.9

60 GB of permanent storage is hard to manage. 500 GB can be excessive and overly expensive. You can upgrade to a sweet spot of 120 to 240 GB for ~$170 to ~$280 depending on which model MBA you have. See http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/SSD/OWC/.

Also see Upgrading Your MacBook Pro with a Solid State Drive (SSD) https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4741. Much of the info pertains to upgrading a MacBook Air SSD.
