Can someone with my Apple ID access my notes on my Iphone?

My boyfriend asked me for my apple ID so I gave it to him not really thinking about it. I had written some personal things in my notes on my Iphone and today they were erased. I didn't erase them so I don't know how it could have happened unless somehow he could have done it from his phone or another computer. Is is possible for someone to be able to access your notes or messages on their phone or other devices with your apple id?
