continue working while burning backup DVD

Question

continue working while burning backup DVD

Is it OK to continue working while my MacBook is burning a back-up DVD? Just data files I mean.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

Sure, OS X is designed for multi-tasking. Note though that this may slow down one of both processes if you do not have enough RAM.

Thank you Klaus. I thought so but did just want to be sure. By the way, I see you're in Somerset, where exactly? I live in Greece now, but was born in Bath.
