So far all i can find out for the iphone 5c that is waterproof is the Lifeproof Fre and Nuud. However their $80-90 price points are more than what I paid for the phone itself. I can't find any other cases that are waterproof, and preferably cheap, for the 5c. Does anyone know of or have any?

Plenty of times. Just any waterproof case will muffle sounds.
Downfall life proof headphone jack needs to b screwed in.
Have you tried the Armour Shell Waterproof Case? My wife has one and loves it!
I have a HESGI case I found on Amazon that is fully submergible in 6.6 ft of water for up to 30 minutes. Fortunately I haven't needed to test it but it's only $20 so better safe than sorry!
