Since we upgraded to OSX Maverick our printer runs expremely slow. We have reinstalled the printer and done everything we can think of. Can anyone help?

If so, I can tell you how to update the printer's firmware.
It's a bit of a lengthy explanation, so I'll wait to see if you have one of these devices before continuing.

You can update your Epson printer's firmware using your iPhone as follows:
Download the (free) Epson iPrint app from the App Store onto your iPhone. Open the app, click the printer, then click "Advanced Settings". Then click "Firmware Update" and let it search for and install updates, if any.
This is what I did and it worked:
1) System Preference
2) Printer and Scanners
3) Right click on your Default Printer
4) Reset Printing System
5) Add Printer
6) Do Not skip anything, wait until it is done
7) Re-start your Mac.

I went to the Epson website and got the firmware update for my Mac. It appears to have helped.
Fantastic advice. Thank you. Full colour photos were taking 15 minutes to print, now they're taking 15 seconds.
This what I did and it worked
Our Epson Printer is very slow since we installed OSX Maverick. When job is sent to printer it prints extremely slow. We have reinstalled the printer but nothing helps.
