I've a few Audiobooks which I've purchased in the past, and I can't locate them at the moment. I tried checking my purchases, and all BUT audiobooks appear. How do you get to see you previous Audiobook please?

Audiobooks are a one-time only download from the store. You can't find them on your backup of your downloads/library ? If not, and if they are still in your country's store, then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Great - thanks. I'm hoping they may be hidden on a back-up drive someplace, but was curious as to why they weren't appearing under purchases? Is there a specific reason why they're 'one-time only' do you know?

As far as I know they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them requiring the one-time only download.
How can I download previously purchased Audiobooks?
