When i try to click "get info", to edit song names, my itunes develops a problem which closes it. Can anyone help?

As the title says, can anyone help? This also happens on my fathers different account as well

iPod touch (4th generation)

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

or

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
