Hi everybody,

I've finished the project on LOGIC PRO X and now I need to convert all the project as an audio mp3 file , with the same features of the common mp3 songs that we buy on i.Tunes. The question is : when I BOUNCE the project, the volume of the mp3 file is always lower than the other mp3 files that i've bought on i.Tunes. WHY ????

My mp3 file has an end volume lower than another mp3 file that i've bought on i.Tunes. WHY ????

All the regions in my project on LOGIC PRO X are perfectly mixed, BUT when i bounce all the project and I convert it as an audio mp3 file and I want to listen it on my i.Phone the volume is always lower than the other tracks that i've bought on i.Tunes. WHY ????

I would like that my audio mp3 file (made with LOGIC PRO X) has the same volume than the other mp3 files that I have already bought on I Tunes. HOW CAN I DO ????

I need your help.

Thank you very much.

Logic Pro X, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

If you're comparing to commercial tracks then you will need to master your track to get more 'ompf', You can do this in the mix by adding mastering presets to the Master channel, or getting a plugin like Ozone which will give you much better results. It's a pretty quick fix if you're working on Demo's.

It's not always just about mix/volume levels when you go up against final compositions like that.

Of course, i may have got this completely wrong and you're having a technical issue when the MP3 is being exported. But it may help get the ball rolling! 🙂

First of all, if '88 is your year of birth then you're too old to be using more than one questionmark, and way too old to use a bold and capitalized whailing "why" (arms outstretched to heaven) as if your family has just been brutally slayered.

Here are some good, readable, manageable tutorials about "quick mastering".
