Q: google safe browsing service is unavailable

Google safe browsing service is unavailable and has not been updated for 7 days. I've searched from the apple forum/communities and could not find a proper  solution.

My MBP's running Maverick and I've installed "ClicktoFlash" extension. I've also ask around my friends and they do not have such a message like mine.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

I just saw I had this again.  I remembered that an extension did this last time, I think it was Duck Duck Go.  I had Ad Block on and unchecked it and so far I'm good.  I'll look for the safari DB file though.

    And wrong.  Sorry.

So I tried the Terminal solution and this is what I got:

    Steves-MacBook-Pro:~ root# find / | grep -i "SafeBrowsing.db"

    find: /dev/fd/3: Not a directory

    find: /dev/fd/4: Not a directory

Sooooo, did I type it wrong or do I not have this directory as Terminal states?  I tried different spacing and did not have any success.  I have the same message in Safari....  Gonna try the boot into Safe Mode.
