I am a new user on Mac and I need to work on sql server 2010.Is there any way to download it on my mac ?

All modern Mac computers can run full versions of Windows OS's.
Since you could then start the Mac into Windows 7 or 8 you can run whatever Windows software you want.
if you mean downloading virtual machine on mac or downloading windows on mac ..I don't want to do these issues .I was wondering if there is a sql server version for mac and anyway thanks alot for your help
A quick Google search for sql for mac os x found dozens of options.
MS Sql server requires Windows Server, so no, it will not run natively under OS X.
Plenty of commercial and many open source SQL flavors available for OS X - MySQL, PostgreSQL, SequelPro, FirebirdSQL, ... the list is long.
Firebird has some very good reviews - http://www.firebirdsql.org/
You should keep in mind that OS X is a POSIX compliant UNIX operating system, so pretty much any of the UNIX/Linux open source SQL releases can be installed, although some will require more effort than others.

You are welcome - there are also a number of GUI SQL clients for OS X that are fully compatible with accessing a Microsoft SQL database, if you can just login and use the database you want on another MS Windows Server machine. Those I am less familiar with, but they are easily found with a web search.
