after working fine, sometime, it forgets my activation and does not allow me to activate again,
even after reseting the device, reseting the settings and even restoring.
This is happen once of twice before and after a restore, it usually allowed me to activate but not this time

Did you ever get this problem resolved? My father watches my kids and has used watch espn on our Apple TV for some time while he babysits. Today it got the same problem you mentioned and I can't resolve it. Sometimes it shows logged in but as soon as he trys to watch anything it says not authorized. It then says activate your provider. Most of the time it won't allow the selection of the cable provider for activation(select from drop down but you can't continue no matter what button you push, only go back or up down the menu). Occasionally it will provide a new activation code for a brief time(tens of seconds and suddenly say congratulations, you're activated! At this point it shows logged in and the same process happens all over again. When going to the website provided on the activation screen, it again allows the cable provider and access code to be entered but the "continue" button is non-functional. This has been tried on safari & chrome on iPad, Mac Pro, and PC. Any advice appreciated! Will also seek the 3rd party provider info in the specialist posting. Thx
I had to reactivate my device a couple of days ago. Safari seems to have issues. Can you try https://es.pn/appletv on Firefox after the ATV generates the code?
What version of code is ATV on?
Thanks a bunch, Firefox worked. Recently updated ATV to 6.2 so maybe that update caused the problem. After your note the ATV provider logout and reauthorize worked like a charm on ATV for some reason as well (before it would hang after selecting the provider or not allow continue at logout)…not sure why but appreciate your quick help, Thanks.
I have complained about the ATV Activation and Safari issues, but it may also have to do with ESPN's activation process. Glad to see it worked.
