How do they sound different?
Pitch?
What format are the wave files in?
Hum they sound like a distortion! They're in wav.
and the format of the wave files? (There are lots of different types of wave files.. 44.1K. 48K or 96K etc.. for example)
if you simply drag the wave file into an audio track in the arrange window.. do they sound ok then?
When you do that does Logic ask you if you wish to convert them to a different format?
In the EXS24 are you playing the wave at the same pitch as they were added originally? (i.e. did you set them up/map them to play at the original pitch when you press C3 for example?)
Audio Waveform! The extension is .wav!
Yes.. but as i said, there are different types of wave files... so what type/format are they in?
No, that does not show any helpful info so...
Please read and answer the following questions that i posted earlier.. as your replies may help work out what is going on...
if you simply drag the wave file from finder.. into a newly created audio track in the arrange window.. do they sound ok then?

Ok they are 44.1K and 32 bits. When I drag the wave file directly into a new track it sounds ok abd Logic dont ask me to convert them. I didnt set them up/map them to play at the original pitch because I dont know how to do that. I drag them as they are straight in my EXS24. Most of them work some dont..
