Trackpad won't sync to iMac

I just recently purchased an iMac with bluetooth keyboard and trackpad. I already had a mouse which synced, as did the keyboard. However, I can't get the trackpad to sync up with the iMac. It doesn't even show up in the options of devices to connect with. Anyone have a suggestion or solution?

iMac, iOS 7.0.4
