How do I find my lost ipod touch

I had my ipod before I got on the bus this morning, it was in my pocket. I sat down on the bus, and I didn't take it out of my pocket, there was someone sitting next to me, but she couldn't have taken it out of my pocket because of the way she was sitting. It's not in my backpack, and my bus driver said she looked everywhere on the bus while cleaning it-like she always does. It could have fallen out anywhere on the bus and someone could have taken it. I'm really worried because I had just gotten it and I'm using icloud to track it, but it says its offline. I don't know how it would even connect to wifi because I have a pass code on it. please help.

unfortunatly threre really isnt anything we can do for you. you would have to get people you know to help you look and maybe you will find it

ps your ipod can still connect to wifi without you doing it if its set on automatic connect

Until it goes online you cannot track it.
