Not sure why, but since a recent update to OSX or Safari, can't remember which, someone else's bookmarks have appeared in my Safari! Apple didn't seem to care when I contacted them. Anyone else found this?

Yes, everyone who synchronizes Safari with iCloud using the same Apple ID as someone else who is doing the same.
Are you suggesting someone shares my Apple ID???
These bookmarks didnt appear before the update
Bookmarks don't appear by magic. Are you syncing Safari with iCloud? Does anyone else have access to the computer?
Yes I sync with iCloud, but no, only I use the computer. Im UK based but these bookmarks appear to be from someone who lives in the US, theres no way they could have access to my Safari profile, Apple ID or otherwise, yet it seems I have access to theirs.
Within Safari...
The left hand book marks list has a Favourites Bar folder which contains my Favourites Bar book marks.
The Bookmarks Menu folder however contains my saved bookmarks and also someone elses!
Folders called Youth, Bible, Jacqui, Music, Air Show, Dog Show etc etc etc loads which arent mine.
I suggest you change the password of your iCloud account.
Yeah, have already done so.

Delete the unwanted bookmarks. If they don't reappear, you can consider the incident over, though I question how someone was apparently able to gain access to your iCloud account without your knowledge.
