Why does my Apple tv NOT recognize my log in info?

3rd generation A tv. Failure to log in with my VALID log in credentials. Just logged in to Apple with it and went to my account with no problem.

Does not recognize my password.

Server fail?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
