logic pro x Core overloads with only few plugins

Logic gives me major head aches since the last update, i hoped logic x would be better, but its actually a lot worse.

With only 1 ultrabeat, a few audio channels and es2 i get one cpu core totally maxed out with core overload messages. Besides the core overload messages i also have sluggish screen redraw issues (mixer page especially) making it simply impossible to work.

I'm on a mac 8 core with 32 gb ram so there is simply no way there is something wrong with my system. It has to be logic (ableton, reaper and reason outperform logic by for on cpu efficiency).

I have tried the following:

-buffer size is now 512(tried several settings)

-turned off input monitoring

-checked different 3rd party plugs for incompetibility issues

- in preferences check 8 cores (processing threads)

-turned off app nap

- read all the threads on this and several other forums with no satisfying tips

Has anyone got any idea on what to do the make Logic run properly?

PS

Sorry for my complaints but i'm really hindered in my work and it's really frustrating.
