Mac OS X Install Help --- NOT WORKING

I can't install Mac OS X onto my hard drive. It begins the process, but after 10 minutes I get this error. "localhost OSInstaller [139]: Failed to verify BSD.pkg"

Then it retries, until the third time when it decides to give up and go to the next file only to say that the next file failed too, and the installation failed. I've tried wiping the drive clean, checking in Disk Utility (where it says that the drive is fine), and I've tried installing it via a external disk drive. Installing onto a external hard drive shows not a single error, and works flawlessly. I've also tried repartitioning it as a RAID. No luck either.

Any ideas as to how I can install?
