Q: my usb mouse won't work

I moved my old desktop with USB mouse and when I plugged everything back in the mouse has solid red light and won't work. Any idea what I can do?

    The pre-1998 Macs this forum covers do not have USB and few can be retrofitted to have it, so I believe you have a newer Mac that has its own more-active forum section. Can you give us more details about your model? People will need to know your model and Mac OS software version to answer anyway.
